Junior PHP Developer

As a developer at Potentialpark Group, you will have the chance to work in a young, diverse and driven team. We maintain and develop many different websites out of which the core are entrypark.com, ihipo.com and potentialpark.com

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS – Who will be successful in this role:

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have:
- Proficiency with PHP and MySQL
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) coding methodologies
- Proficiency with XML, XHTML and CSS3
- Familiarity with LAMP or MAMP Server administration
- Proficiency with in-depth data mining, data analytics, data manipulation and reporting
Good to have:
- Proficiency with JavaScript (jQuery), AJAX
- Experience with MVC frameworks: Zend Framework, CodeIgniter
- 1-3 Years applicable work experience
- Proficiency with database schema design
- Experience with PHP Open Source projects: WordPress and/or Drupal
- Social Media, SEO experience
- SCRUM or Agile methodology knowledge
- Familiarity with Paypal, Facebook and Twitter integration
- An interest in digital marketing
- Working knowledge of SVN
- Previous work experience and success in sales and/or marketing is a plus
What we are looking for:
- University education, preferably with a degree
- Fluency in English (mandatory), every extra language is a plus
- Positive and communicative
- Dynamic and communicative, able to dispatch energy among the team
- Confident and creative team-player who takes initiative
- With a hunger for knowledge
