What is your story and how did you end up at Potentialpark?

When I moved to Sweden, I was looking into IT engineer jobs specialized in enterprise resource planning (ERP) as my former job experience helped me develop a passion for that kind of thing. But then I started to consider other business options. As I was a campus manager at Capgemini France, I was curious to discover the other side and start to give advice to companies on how to build their career presence in the market. The role was also perfect to me as I could make the bridge between the conception of the products and the digital department and still keep a foot in the IT area. Since then I found a role at Potentialpark that fit both Worlds

What is your main priority as a Digital Project Manager and what do you hope to achieve in your role?

My main priority is to make sure that the Research and Digital people understand their needs and capabilities in both way and work efficiently together.

I am French, but I also speak English, German and a bit of Swedish.

It is important for an employer to keep applicants informed, so they aren’t left questioning what happens next.

What is your story and how did you end up at Potentialpark?

Transitioning from studying law to pursuing a business career, I began to look for international business opportunities. I had the chance to live many exciting places and work in a large range of industries during this journey. When I made the decision to move to Sweden, I was looking for a company that reached across borders, and the role at Potentialpark really called out to me.

Numbers are our friends. They tell an objective story that, when mixed with creativity, create the roadmap to success.

What is the best advice someone has given you?

The best advice I've received is -- always move towards the direction of your discomfort. In my work, travel, and relationships, I've always tried to open my mind to all the possibilities even when they make me feel vulnerable. Some of the best lessons I have learned in life have come from experiences where I left my comfort zone.

What is your story and how did you end up at Potentialpark?

I did a master degree in International Business at ICD Paris.  I worked as a sector manager in several companies in France and then decided to live in Sweden. I was looking for a position of key account manager and I saw an opening at Potentialpark. After studying their activity I immediately wanted to be part of the sales team and take part in their journey!

What is your main priority as a Key Account Manager and what do you hope to achieve in your role?

As a Key Account Manager, my priority is to promote my company to French clients. Being passionate about negotiation and cultivating the relationships already establish will help me achieve my goals! I hope to help the French market expand with new clients!

I am French, so I speak French, English and have some knowledge of Spanish.

Who is/are your role model(s)?

My role model is Oprah Winfrey, I love her because she is the perfect image of a business woman, she has so many skills. In the 90's she creates a new show based on personal development, and meditation that inspires me for a lot of thing.  She has a lot of humor and is also an influencer in politics.

I think the most important thing is to be able to quickly understand the motivations and skills of candidates. It is important for employers to understand the candidates they are looking to recruit inside and out.

I am a Backend Developer with 7+ years of experience in developing backend for enterprise applications and also have extensive experience working with system development, open source, service oriented architecture. I started in May 2018  at Potentialpark as a Backend Developer.

What is your story and how did you end up at Potentialpark?

As a political scientist by degree, I have always been fascinated by understanding what drives people's preferences, and thus got into analyzing survey and behavioral data. I developed a crush on Sweden over the course of a visit last fall and then flirted with the idea of moving here. The role as a German-speaking Research Analyst at PP fit perfectly, and that's how I - very spontaneously - ended up in this beautiful city with great colleagues!

What is your main priority as a Research Analyst and what do you hope to achieve in your role?

My main priority is transforming our data into stories by exploring new ways to analyze and visualize it. I hope to be successful in improving our products from an analytical perspective, and in gaining and communicating meaningful new insights to our clients that have an impact on their strategy.

What do you like best about Potentialpark?

Working together with incredibly kind, fun, motivated and bright people from all over the world who have great ideas.

What do you think is the most important piece of information for employer branders and talent acquisition managers to know right now?

Your most valuable resource are people. And they know their own worth and have begun to ask for it.

As a Research Analyst, what advice do you have for companies looking to improve their employer branding strategies?

Think about your target group, i.e. the kind of talent you want to attract, going beyond the obvious, and then understand what they look for in an employer. Finally, highlight those needs you can meet. Also, design and functionality matters. Make their UX as pleasant as possible!

What excites you the most about talent acquisition for 2020?

Discovering new trends in candidate preferences and UX as digital technology and social media continues to develop.

Leonie joined Potentialpark in Summer 2017 as a Key Account Manager consulting with many different companies on their Talent Communication. Since Summer 2019 she is venturing more into Potentialpark’s Brand Strategy.

 

What is your story and how did you end up at Potentialpark?

I was always fascinated by other countries, people and everything foreign. That’s why I decided to visit as many places in the world as I can. During my Masters in International Cultural and Business Studies I spent 6 months in Sweden to study at Stockholm University. That was in 2015. I loved the Nordics and kept coming back until in Spring 2017, I decided to stay. Potentialpark and I found each other shortly after. Working around communication and data, with people from all over the globe was exactly what I wanted to do.  

What is your main task at Potentialpark?

In 2017 I started as a Key Account Manager, taking care of our German & Austrian clients, developing the DACH market further, preparing events & delivering our studies. 

I’ve just transitioned into Brand Strategy Management, working on the story our data tells us and while also strengthening the Potentialpark brand globally. 

What is your nationality? And what languages can you speak?

I was born in Erlangen, Germany. I speak German, English and French, can get by in Spanish and Swedish (even though I need to work on that) and also studied Sign Language for a year at University. 

What do you think is the most important piece of information for employer branders and talent acquisition managers to know right now?

Employer Branding and communicating with talent in the right way becomes increasingly important. But candidate behavior differs across the markets and is evolving constantly. In order to stay competitive, it is crucial to not lose track of what every companies biggest asset - the people - really needs.

What do you like best about Potentialpark?

Potentialpark is a place with very inspiring and driven people. The high standards and commitment to quality everyone displays, motivates me daily. What I also really love is the fun we have together in and outside the office. A lot of “fika”, afterworks & office parties, as well as trips to the Swedish archipelago – you just can’t help but become close, and I haven’t seen anything like it anywhere else before. Just love it!

As a Brand Strategy Manager, what advice do you have for companies looking to improve their employer branding strategies?

Have a sense for the developments in the market and don’t embrace changes too slowly. The gaps between a fruitful and an outdated Talent Acquisition strategy will widen, and the tight talent market will lead to longer vacancies and a lack of qualitative hires. A strong, authentic, and targeted communication is key and you need to make sure you are visible for your target group.

What is your favorite song?

Oh, there are MANY… but anything by Macklemore, Fettes Brot, Eagle-Eye Cherry or AnnenMayKantereit. I like it upbeat!

What excites you the most about talent acquisition for 2020?

Things are changing fast and become increasingly tech-focused. New platforms are on the rise, new tools to potentially simplify both the lives of candidates as well as HR managers and our values are transforming. I’m excited by the speed of it and the possibilities that emerge from these transformations.

«Etiam si omnes, ego non». Even if all take part, not me. I love this quote, because it reminds me to stay true to what I believe is right and to always stand up for it.

Lorenz graduated from College of Charleston in May 2018. In August 2018 he moved to Sweden to pursue his dream of professional football player. He plays football full time and works at Potentialpark full time as well in Marketing. He has started several smaller companies and enjoys living an entrepreneurial life style.

 

What is your story and how did you end up at Potentialpark?

After graduating from college in the USA, I decided to move too Sweden to chase my dreams of becoming a professional footballer. After one season, I met a player who worked for Potentialpark and gave me a strong recommendation to check them out. Now I work here :)

What is your main priority as a Digital Marketing Specialist and what do you hope to achieve in your role?

As a digital marketing specialist, my main priority it to create MQL’s for our sales team while maintaining a strong united front as a company. I manage Potentialpark’s social media accounts and help to spread our companies product + values through different marketing tactics. I hope for Potentialpark to be the #1 inspiration for employer branders, talent acquisition managers and recruiters by 2020!

I was born in the United States of America, but I hold a Netherlands passport as well. I can only speak English. Maybe Italian…Depends who you ask.

Who are your role models?

My role models are My Mother, My Father, Gennaro Gattuso and Gary V.

What do you think is the most important piece of information for employer branders and talent acquisition managers to know right now?

I think it’s incredibly important for companies to utilize social media during recruiting. The power social media has in todays World is vast and it is not slowing down. If you pair a focus on social media with data on candidates, you will become one of the most sought after employers.

I love the people at Potentialpark. We are one big family. It is nice to look around the office and see people who genuinely care about my everyday life.

Luiza was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She moved to France when was 22 and then to London at 24. In London is where she pursued a bachelors in Global Business. In April 2019, she moved to Stockholm with her husband and her 2 dogs. She eventually went back to school to study for her Master's degree in Management!

 

What is your story and how did you end up at Potentialpark?

I had just arrived in Stockholm and I found Potentialpark partnership position on LinkedIn. In a couple of weeks I received a call from them and in about a month I was hired. I immediately feel I’m love with the world of talent communication and the people of Potentialpark.

What is your main priority as a partner relations manager and what do you hope to achieve in your role?

As Partner relations manager, my goal is to create strong relationships between universities, talent, clients and Potentialpark. It is to bring actionable insights to our partners and to facilitate the communication between talent and their future employers. It is to bring the candidates voice to the table and make sure they are heard.  

What is your nationality? And what languages can you speak? 

I am from Brazil, so my mother tongue is Portuguese. I can also speak English and Spanish. I can also understand and communicate in French and Swedish.

My father!

What do you think is the most important piece of information for employer branders and talent acquisition managers to know right now?

I think is to be aware that the competition is stronger than ever with the new social media era. I believe they need to be aware of which platform the talent they want to attract is on and to focus on it! Also, to be agile in the recruitment process as the best talent gets snatched up fast!

What do you like best about Potentialpark?

The People. Since my first day everyone was super receptive. I also love that by doing my job I am helping students to have a voice when applying. It is awesome to be able to shape the future of recruitment as well through what we do. But I really love to see the value of partnerships that our company creates as without it we don’t have a product!

What is the best advice someone has given you?

If you don’t know what to do, ask! It is better asking than doing it wrong.

What is your favorite song? 

I don’t think I have one but if I had to choose it would be a Brazilian one: “Codinome beija-flor by Cazuza” the lyrics are super beautiful! 

What is your spirit animal and why?

My star sign is Leo and I always saw myself as a lion! I see myself as a strong and independent woman and I feel like female lions (lionesses) can do everything for themselves! Just take away the part of hunting for the male!

What excites you the most about talent acquisition for 2020?

I think it will be interesting to see which role the automatization era and new technologies will play in talent acquisition. How robots and computers can find the right candidates for each position.

What activities do you do outside of Potentialpark?

I travel to Brazil every chance I get to visit my family. I am also addicted to tv series and the cinema…I go at least once per week. I love walking my dogs in the beautiful parks and forests in Stockholm. I really enjoy having friends over for dinners or just spend time with my husband!

What is your story and how did you end up at Potentialpark?

I studied business economics with a major in organization and management as that's one of my big interests. During my studies I had my own company where I provided B2B consulting to connect Swedish enterprises with the Chinese market. After three years of running my own business I decided to accept a job offer as a CEO for an investment firm in Örebro. My focus was to grow the business together with the management team and to develop better internal processes. As my three focus areas throughout my career has been Sales, international business and leadership, Potentialpark truly felt like the perfect fit for me.

What is your main priority as a Head of Sales and what do you hope to achieve in your role?

My goal is for us to build strong relationships to clients across our main markets and grow our business together with my amazing sales team. I also want to make sure to always invest in the team so we stay in the top of being the number one experts in talent communication and employer branding.

I was born in Moscow but raised in Sweden ever since I was 1 year old! I can speak Arabic, Swedish and English.

My number one role model is Oprah Winfrey.

To measure your work and projects as well as support your actions with fact based research is key for success. With a lot happening in Social Media and the Digital age, it's important to keep yourself updated at all time.

it's my mission to constantly develop as a person in every way possible, keep my curiosity and to never lose sight of whats important in life.

To work towards understanding the talents you want to attract in many different ways so you make sure that the focus is on serving your main target group.
